We have a perm, long-term contract opening for a Senior C/DB2 Programmer to join a high visibility team that works on several mission critical projects!

PROJECT & POSITION DETAILS:

This team is looking to add a developer to assist with the ongoing support and enhancements for several of its mission critical systems. The ideal candidate will be an experienced developer with strong experience coding applications in a DB2 SQL/UNIX environment.

We are seeking IT professionals with an excellent grasp of DB2 to work on a large (20+) team enhancing and supporting mission critical systems.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced self-starter that is flexible and can change gears rapidly to contribute where needed in an area where the work is fast-paced and dynamic.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-7+ years development experience coding applications in a DB2 SQL/UNIX environment
-Extensive experience with writing complex SQL statements and stored procedures against a highly transactional database and OLTP environment
-Strong ability to write SQL without the use of a development tool
-7+ years experience coding in C or Cobol for enterprise applications
-Great communications skills are required
