Senior C#/ASP.NET Developer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Producing robust software containing minimal bugs and requiring minimal rework
- Producing quality code that is concise, readable and maintainable by the team
- Exercising attention to detail to ensure high standard of delivered software
- Building re-usable components and selling features to the team
- Writing unit tests and acceptance tests
- Performing integration tests
- Documenting systems changes and user guides
- Diagnosing system problems
- Coming up with creative solutions to difficult problems
- Contributing to the team with improvement initiatives

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience in a small to medium corporate environment
- Web Front End development expertise using C#, ASP.NET, XML, HTML and JavaScript (including JQuery).
- Application development experience using C# Winforms.
- Windows Communication Foundation Design & Development experience.
- VBScript and VB 6.0 knowledge highly regarded
- Relational Database with high level of competency in SQL Server 2005+
- Transact SQL, Stored Procedures, Data Transformation Services/SSIS, SQL Profiler and SQL Execution Plan.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of SDLC methodologies
- Previous Source Control Management experience eg TFS, CVS etc.
- Knowledge of MVC highly regarded
