Senior C# .Net Developer, TDD, Agile - Warrington, Contract

Type - Contract (3 - 6 months +)
Location - Warrington
Rates - £300 - £350 per day
Start Date - 9th September latest

Senior C# / TDD Developer is required for a Warrington based client to work in a large development team on a project for a key client of theirs. ASP.Net, MVC, Winforms, nUnit, TDD, BDD and Agile are all essential skills for this role. This is cutting edge development, developing an advanced 'works management system' for their end client who is a household name. As well as being a quality coder, this role will require somebody who is used to working in a team of other highly skilled and talented developers & testers in an Agile environment

Essential Skills:

- C# (.Net)
- ASP.Net MVC
- Winforms, WPF
- NUnit or other Unit testing
- Agile, Scrum, Kanban
- Test Driven Development
- WCF, Web Services
- SQL Server 2008

Desirable skills:

- xUnit
- BDD, DDD
- MVVM

The successful candidate will be an established Senior Developer with at least 3 years experience of contract. This person will be capable of running a work-stream and taking ownership of the end to end system development and design.

Ideally you will be accustomed to getting up to speed quickly, and getting to grips with how the business works. Linked to this you will be comfortable taking the initiative and speaking to non technical colleagues within different departments to find answers to pressing questions.
