C# .NET SQL Developer -  Commodities Front Office IT - Investment Bank

C# Developer to work within a Front Office IT Commodities team within an Investment Bank. Development is in C# (.NET 4.5) and SQL server (2008/2012).

The Commodities Team provides liquidity and market-making services across commodity markets to a large and diversified base of clients worldwide. Products include Base and Precious Metals, Oil, European and North American Power and Natural Gas, Coal, Emissions and Agricultural Commodities.

The development team works in close partnership with the Commodities IT division in order to scale up system architecture, advance trading functionality, integrate new business areas and improve post-trade processes. The new developer will focus initially on Front Office-driven business-as-usual enhancements to our platform.

The standards within the team are high and the role is highly competitive. There will be a rigorous screening process so candidates must be at a high development level to succeed. Capital Markets or other relevant experience is ESSENTIAL.
