Huxley Associates is pleased to be working with leading Oil and Gas Company who are looking for a new Senior Buyer to assist the Supply Chain Management team within the Aberdeen area.

This is a company that is well known for excellent technology and for investing in their own company. This is coupled with ambitious growth plans of 9-15% from 2011 to 2015 which means this is an excellent time to join the business and will be a company that will provide both a challenging role and long term career progression.

Your role would be to administer the purchasing module to deliver a cost effective, timely and valued added purchasing function to all internal customers, whilst building and maintaining effective and open communications to ensure that they are informed of all procurement matters which are relevant to them. Manage, coach and monitor all aspects of procurement within the supply base in a professional and ethical manner with due regards to total acquisition cost, delivery, quality, continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Interested? We are looking for proven experience within a Senior Buyers Role who is looking for a fresh challenge and wanting to take on a new opportunity. Ideally you will have experience in the Oil and Gas industry but this is not essential. Must have a Bachelors Degree.

On offer for the role the maximum salary is £45,000 flexible dependant on the successful candidates' skills and experience.
