The company now has an opportunity to expand their growing buying team. Bringing on board a Senior Buyer who has the wealth and experience to lead and improve the companies growing plans. As a Strategic Senior Buyer you will be working within the companies Procurement area. This company is looking for an individual who has previous experience within vendor management where you have a proven track record in cost savings and keeping up good vendor relationships. When sending in your CV you MUST add key achievements, evidence of your cost savings (figures & percentages) and rationalisation of vendor base. You will ideally come from an Engineering, Manufacturing background and have managed commodities such as stainless steel pressings, metals and plastics. You will have strong analytical skills, previously used MRP and also have the initiative to work on your own judgement. On offer for this role is a starting salary of circa £35,000 which is flexible dependant on the successful candidate's skills and experience.
