Excellent Senior BuyerOpportunity 30k + Interviews ASAP It is essential that you come from a manufacturing background Preferably CIPs qualified Experience with internal and external savings The main responsibility of the role will be dealing with be dealing with Category analysis, identifying saving opportunities, being able to steer spend with commercial suppliers and being involved in Stake holder Internal and External engagements. The remit is broad and the role a demanding one. What you must possess however is the following: * Manufacturing background * Strategic vision and commercial awareness * Be able to demonstrate different category spends and savings * Driven, Passionate and enthusiastic * Motivated and well presented * Strong communication and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders. * Strong character - thinking outside of the box * Contract negotiation with key suppliers * Collaboratively working with suppliers to facilitate optimal working practices. * Ensure robust process management of the engineering stock levels. * Supplier development and appraisals * Overseeing engineering CAPEX projects and maintaining budgets * Monitoring the Production Raw material stocks and maintenance FIFO system * Develop e2e process improvement changes to improve efficiency and productivity. * Designing and enhancing business systems which effectively & efficiently deliver products and services to maximize best value for the business. * Facilitation of improved Enterprise Resource Planning, persuading and influencing the senior management team. * Implementing a business wide strategy to document ways of working that is transparent, and simplistic to ensure continuous improvements are maintained. * Project management alongside key stakeholders to deliver cost saving targets.
