How would you like to work for a leading Midlands Company? With an annual turnover of over £2bn and over 40,000 employees across multiple continents, they are currently looking for a Senior Buyer to be based at theirWest Midlandssite.

Currently the business is continuing to expand with global growth having the set goal to become one of the worlds leading names in construction and support services; you now have an opportunity to play a role in this mission.

The main responsibility of the role will be dealing with be dealing with Category analysis, identifying saving opportunities, being able to steer spend with commercial suppliers and being involved in Stake holder Internal and External engagements.

The remit is broad and the role a demanding one. What you must possess however is the following:
* Preferably from a hard services background (Water, maintenance, property services, Air conditioning etc)
* Strategic vision and commercial awareness
* Be able to demonstrate different category spends and savings
* Driven, Passionate and enthusiastic
* Motivated and well presented
* Strong communication and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong character - thinking outside of the box

Looking for a candidate to hit the ground running, preferably from a hard services background that is looking to be part of a dynamic and fast paced organisation, currently going through a cutting edge transformation. This is an evolving company demonstrating continuous change. The company is currently in the finals of CIPs awards and has been Accredited Gold class as a sustainable Procurement company; this is a very exciting time to join.

Experience within Facilities Management indirect and direct as well as Hard Services would be a distinct advantage however is not essential. Most importantly, all candidates must come from an environment where you are a key influence and have achieved significant results.
