Work as team leader to design, develop and implement business systems or complete specialty functions of medium to high risk. Provide technical support for varied technologies, architectures and related projects. Coordinate and complete projects according to plan when assigned. Apply technology to business issues to increase revenue, avoid cost, improve service and achieve goals. Technical/Functional skills:

Provide computer program and system development and technical support for very complex, highly critical programs and systems. Plan and coordinate tests, resolves production problems, identify opportunities to improve systems and architecture. Develop methods for technology application within assigned discipline.

Employers often seek at least a bachelor's degree and several years of computer applications and business experience. For more technically challenging positions involving complex business systems, as masters degree may be required. 5+ years of experience is typically preferred.

- Conducts thorough analysis of business requirements and becomes a subject matter expert for developers to rely on
- Prepares and coordinates testing strategies
- Performs DQ checks and prepares documentation and reports
- Designs and builds ad hoc extracts for business users
- Has broad technical experience in data marts, star schemas, data warehouse environments, and associated data processing activities such as data sourcing, transformation, loading, and reporting
- Has querying experience and proficiency with statistics and numbers
- Is well-versed in writing queries, joins, and SELECT statements, as well as in stored process development
- Performs data analysis design and execution and problem-solving with large amounts of data
- Needs to be involved with requirements elicitation process, work closely with the credit risk team to gather and define Business requirements
- Delivers source to target mapping documents for the data-warehouse and data -mart
- Supports the UAT process in co-ordination with the SAS team and credit risk analysts.
