Senior Business/Systems Analyst

Interested in a contract opportunity as a Business/Systems Analyst in a Data Warehouse environment?

A Senior Business/Systems analyst is required to identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems. This includes a data layer development component, process improvement, organisational change and strategic planning.

The successful candidate will:

- Have proven and extensive research and analytical skills to gather detailed business requirements in a Data Warehouse environment or Business Intelligence (BI) Projects;
- Have proven ability to think analytically in order to convert/translate data rules into good quality business meaning;
- Demonstrate an understanding of integration of multiple source systems into an integrated Data Warehouse environment;
- Have proven experience with Datamodelling concepts and data warehousing disciplines to enable the translation of Business Information needs into business rules and requirements;
- Understand and describe BI requirements and evaluate data for conformance to expectations;
- Demonstrate proven technical skills to query and evaluate source data and test Data Warehousing ETL processes in a Relational environment (preferably with Teradata);
- Facilitate the capturing of formal, verifiable and unambiguous requirements effectively distilled from the Business users and key stakeholders either in Workshops or other forums;
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a small team relating to BI outcomes
