Senior Business Systems Analyst

Our client is the Northwest's software superpower seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to ensure the integrity of P&L data.

OVERVIEW

- Manage operations, including interfaces with various systems, data quality, and responsibility for daily, weekly, and monthly publish SLAs.
- Interface with business owners to assist in the definition, interpretation, and implementation of system enhancements.
- Be accountable for control compliance to Internal Audit, Corporate Accounting and other internal/external interested parties.
- Work with product management, analysis, development, test, and production support teams to ensure delivery of required enhancements through SDLC.
- Ensure all system enhancements meet both business and operations objectives (serviceability, agility and maintainability).
- Implement business controls and review audits to ensure data quality.
- Team with internal and external business contacts to proactively respond to data and system interface issues.
- Provide Tier 2 support for user inquiries about opex data quality/timeliness.
- Challenge existing processes and drive/implement changes as needed.
- Work closely with data providers, training them on reporting alternatives, formats, reporting deadlines and data quality in order to meet stringent MARS data quality and timeliness measures.

REQUIREMENTS

- Strong SQL experience
- Finance/Accounting knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Customer Service background and experience managing customer expectations
- BI tools such as SSRS, SharePoint, Power Pivot (a plus)
- Basic/Intermediate programming experience.NET, VBA, HTML, XML (a plus)
- Previous Microsoft Experience (a plus)

Strong SQL skills will be needed to troubleshoot, display proof of concept, and provide solutions for users. You will be handling HIGH volumes of data, so a sense of urgency is a must. You will be working with reporting systems to support change management for business change, as well as large databases, so VBA and Excel experience will also make you successful in this role.
