Senior Business Systems Analyst

SPECIFIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS (ADC):
Sr. Business Systems Analyst position. It will involve providing production support for 3 applications, iQ Complaints, Discovery and iQ Audit. The person doesn't have to be an expert in all of the technologies used but strong familiarity with them is needed in order to trouble-shoot issues that arise.

This person will need to review the system requirements and design documentation in order to understand how the systems work. They'll need to learn the user interfaces and use that information to replicate problems. They will be working with members of the ADC IT, GIS iQ support, and off-shore Discovery support individuals in determining root causes for issues. This person will also be interacting directly with the key users who report problems with these applications to our team. They'll need to have excellent oral and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills are a must. Development and refinement of support documentation will also be part of the responsibilities.

iQ
ADC iQ Complaints is based on the MatrixOne platform
AutoSys jobs (managed by Chicago) load data from flat files into iQ and extract data from iQ, into flat files
Browser based PLM application that has been configured for ADC's management of complaint data
Oracle is used for the Back End database

Discovery
Discovery is an Oracle-based Datawarehouse containing complaint data
Cognos is used as the Front End for ad hoc reporting
Informatica is used for ETL functions when loading flat file data into the Discovery Datawarehouse
Oracle is used as the Back End database
AutoSys jobs (managed by Chicago) load data from flat files into Discovery
