For a three months project at our client - an international insurance company based in Zurich - we are looking for a SENIOR BUSINESS SME - INSURANCE PRODUCT OPTIMIZATION (3104)
As Senior Business SME you will either work in Zurich, Brussels or Den Hague - but preferable Zurich - and you are responsible for conducting INSURANCE PRODUCT PORTFOLIO OPTIMIZATION ACTIVITIES for selected European Countries based on a pre-defined methodology.
We look for candidates with experience in:
- Insurance KPIs (eg combined ratio, claims ratio, expense ratio)
- Finance (Actuarial background or work experience in product management topics is a plus)
- Managing a small team of business resources per country to drive activities
- Corporate Insurance Business and/or products out of LoB's Liability, Property, Financial Lines, Engineering, Marine, Motor Fleet and Accident & Travel
In addition, you can contribute the following skills:
- Agile Methodology (eg Sprint Planning, Backlog Prioritization, Daily Stand-up)
- QlikView, Reporting Databases, SQL-Statements
- Visual Basic is a plus
- Fluency in English (German is beneficial)
Your responsibilities include:
- Conduct Insurance Product Portfolio Optimization Activities for selected European Countries based on a pre-defined methodology (quantitative assessments, qualitative assessments, recommendations)
- Quantitative Assessment:
- Preparation of insights based on historical data/available KPIs
- Gathering of qualitative insights (Marketing, sales, operations etc.)
- DELIVERABLE: CREATION OF A TARGET MAP AND FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS PER PRODUCT AND COUNTRY FOR EACH LINE OF BUSINESS
