Senior Business Process Engineer, Tax Project (Contract, Zurich)

On behalf of our international client in the finance sector, Swisslinx are looking for a Business Engineer with strong process engineering experience and knowledge of tax or regulatory requirements for a new project in Zurich.

This is a contract starting ASAP with a strong chance of extension into 2015.

SENIOR BUSINESS PROCESS ENGINEER, TAX PROJECT (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

Responsibilities:

- Translating regulatory and business requirements with regard to client documentation, client data and/or FATCA reporting
- Performing Impact Analysis & Specifications of regulatory and business requirements
- Structuring, steering, controlling and verifying requirements
- Reviewing, documentation and alignment of business processes and related IT implementation
- Review processes obtained by international locations and define process and IT changes with them
- Defining and overseeing implementation of FATCA rule engine changes (client data and documentation rules)
- Self-reliant gathering of necessary requirements and process know how
- Independent management and tracking of the defined milestones timely and qualitative delivery
- Leading of recurrent calls and workshops, including adequate pre and post-processing and documentation

In order to be considered for this position, you will possess the following skills and experience:

- Experience as a Business Process Engineer in a banking environment
- Hands on experience on tax (eg FATCA, EWT, FWT) or regulatory projects
- Strong experience in process design and process (re-) engineering in a banking environment
- Ideally you have worked in a private banking environment
- Track record within programs with significant IT/process impact in a global environment
- Planning, co-ordinating and tracking of deliverables and tasks
- Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Fluent in English (German strongly encouraged)
