Senior Business Objects Development Team Lead A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a leading bank based inManchesterfor a Business Objects Subject Matter Expert/Team Lead. This Business Objects SME would be responsible for spearheading and building out the bank Business Objects strategic framework and leading a team of Business Objects Developers using a on-shore/off-shore model. This Business Objects Team Lead would be responsible for: - Pushing the strategic Business Objects platform forward, developing it into a centre of excellence for the entire bank. - Being responsible for ensuring the off-shore/on-shore team are delivering best in class development and responsible for team leading them on a daily basis. - Work closely with the business users to understand Business Objects and reporting requirements and successfully translate these into sound technical solutions. - Being a subject matter expert on Business objects for all member of the banks data warehouse development team. To be considered for the role any successful candidate must have: - Background and excellent knowledge of Business Objects Development and reports development, including: BO4, WEBI,Crystalreports, Dashboards, Universe design and development. - Experience overseeing a Business Objects platform and pushing the direction of the development forward or acting as a technical lead on a previous business objects platform. - Experience working with stakeholders, resolving conflict, managing internal expectations - Experience mentoring or managing teams, ideally on-shore or off-shore. This team are looking to push their technical stack forward over the forthcoming months and years and are taking a distinct interest in Business Intelligence Mobile applications, therefore anyone with experience or a keen interest in the technology would be highly suitable.
