Senior Business Data Analyst

This position is responsible for a Data Management program delivery activities including evaluations, analysis, data definitions an input into maintenance of same, functional business requirements, target operating model requirements, input/assistance to partner program use cases, business/user acceptance testing co-ordination, user training and program implementation support as required.

- May represent and act as senior team liaison with other strategic initiatives/programs, stakeholders, subject matter experts, business representatives and functional staff for in-scope work.

- Experience leading & participating in large-scale data-mapping initiatives
- Provide senior business data analyst level support to other programs within AIG for all area's of data including reference and master data.
- Responsible for the production of SDLC artefacts such as Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications, Use Cases, Master Test Plans etc.
- Position requires mature ability to investigate, analyze, document, resolve complex conflicts and issues, evaluate and mitigate risks, communicate with senior program manager, regional management and senior executives and effectively report status across multiple International businesses, systems, operations, process and data platforms.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, information systems, engineering, science, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and work experience).

Minimum Experience:
Extensive insurance/financial services operations, customer, data and or technology experience
Extensive senior business data analyst responsibility in complex integrated systems environment
Extensive experience in business process design, assessment and or re-engineering
Extensive experience with data domain, data standards, and or data aggregation experience including exposure to principles of data management, master data management, data quality and associated tools.
Extensive experience in change management/implementation and planning
Good working knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing including entity relationship
