Senior Business Author (Writer) - Bank, Brussels

My client is a Brussels based international bank, a leader in the clearing, settlement and custody of securities (bond, equity, and fund transactions).

The Commercial Division of the bank is responsible for new business generation, business growth and client loyalty
Initiating the documentation process with stakeholders to identify responsibilities and define the review process. Identifying appropriate methods for answering all questions.
Drafting professional, commercially-focused answers (to the RFP).
Managing the review and production process in line with deadlines.
Identifying and solving or escalating potential issues.
Delivering a final document that meets the bank's and client's standards.
Answers to RFPs from clients: involves liaising with other teams to source and/or clarify information.
Gathering due diligence questionnaires from clients;
Resource materials for the RFP Team's information repository, making sure they are up to date and market relevant.

The ability to help manage a production line of top-class documents is central to this interesting and challenging role that connects to all divisions within the bank.

As part of the broader client documentation role, you will also:
Review and refine existing materials in the repository;
Identify needs for new materials for the repository;
Work in parallel with the subject matter experts for any new materials required;
Retain a current and client-focused knowledge on the bank's service offering.

SKILLS:

Excellent English writing skills
Some knowledge of clearing, settlement or custody of securities (Previous experience in investment banking, stock exchange or an ICSD (International Centralised Securities Depositary or similar, eg. Crest, Euroclear, Euronext, NYSE, Clearstream, LCH Clearnet, any Custodian etc) will be a plus).
Ideally, experience of producing RFPs, but at a minimum, experience of producing client facing documentation;
