We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager to work on a high performance database project in the domain of Real Time pricing data and historic pricing data
The data stored in the Database will be used for different purposes, eg analytics, statistics etc.
Performance, high frequency, low latency and big amount of data will have to be taken in account while developing the project as well different interfaces design towards different key applications and data input providers
-Lead and set up a new high performance database project
-Initialize, design and manage the project which is at an in initial state
-Elaborate a project plan and a roadmap for the project
-Manage and understand the requirements from all different stakeholders
-Own specifications, business- and test cases
-Design the solution and coordinate it across the different IT stakeholders
-Set up, leading and coordination of prod- and test environments (incl. maintenance-activities) as well as incident management
-Integration of pricing feed data for users and applications in the whole department, for the data needed into the database
Skills
-5-8 years working experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Industry, preferable in Investment Banking Front Office
-4+ years working as Project Manager for a IT middle size projects in the finance industry
-Understand different asset classes for financial products as this is an integral part of the project design
-Multiple years' experience in different business products FX, Equities, Structured products, Interest Rates, Fixed Income and Commodities
-Knowledge of bank workflow and products data structure
-Business experience & knowledge with data vendors' providers like Reuters, Bloomberg, Market Map, Morningstar etc.
-Excellent testing skills
-2+ years working experience as a developer is a plus
-2+ years working experience in Business Support is a plus
-Profound skills in Office Applications and Visio
-Successful and documented completion of projects
Other skills
- University/FH degree or professional experience in IT
-Structured working approach
-Being able to do the right prioritization also in a very fast changing and dynamic environment
-Very good analytic skills
-Passion for Real Time data area, low latency-technology and Front End business
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills and a good sense of humor
-Independent, pragmatic and pro-active working style
