Senior Business Analyst - US GAAP/IFRS (5682)

For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - US GAAP/IFRS (5682)

This process of designing, constructing and implementing procedures and controls to deliver timely and accurate presentation and disclosures covers both the end-to-end process/controls as well as specific IT developments to enable acurate delivery.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS BUSINESS ANALYST IN GLOBAL REGULATORY PROJECTS WITHIN THE FINANCIAL INDUSTRY
- IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF IFRS AND US_GAAP ACCOUNTING TREATMENT
- EXPERIENCE IN ACCOUNTING PROJECTS - WITH A DEGREE IN FINANCE/ACCOUNTING/IT (MBA (FINANCE)/CA/ICWA/CPA/ACCA)
- KNOWLEDGE IN BANKING PRODUCTS (LOANS, SLB, RISK MODELS ETC.)
- SOLID SKILLS IN SQL AND MS ACCESS
- OUTSTANDING CONCEPTUAL AND ANALYTICAL SKILLS, PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS AND CRITICAL THINKING
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of the business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions, where required
- Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements
- Preparation of test plans, test cases, co-ordinating with users and IT during the testing phase
- Execution of specific test cases
- Preparation of the documentation and steps for deployment, including user training where required
- Performs User training where required
