ROLE - Senior Business Analyst

DURATION - 6 months

LOCATION - London

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

This programme will focus on channel enhancements across Transactional Banking to support the customer value proposition delivered within the wider programme.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled business analyst to play a significant role in the design of the new digital customer platform.

Key aspects of the role:

- Work with the Business to document requirements
- Produce Use Cases and associated documentation such as data catalogues
- Work closely with the User Experience team to ensure User Interface and Functional deliverables align perfectly
- Work through functional issues and feedback from technical design and build colleagues to identify a resolution in a timely manner
- Assist the overall Functional Architect to produce and maintain the Use Case model that describes the Functional Architecture for the channel

CORE SKILLS

- In-depth experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience working with clients to deliver channel content and solutions
- Must be able to plan and manage own delivery
- Experience of previous eCommerce projects within Banking, and an understanding of the concepts and technologies used
- Experience of working on complex projects within Banking institutions, especially within a Transaction Banking environment.
- Experience of Banking Transformation projects
- Highly motivated and attention to detail is key
- Strong negotiation skills and effective communicator, both written and verbal at all levels
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Proven track record of successful projects

DESIRED SKILLS

Domain knowledge of the following:

- Corporate Banking
- Online Banking and Internet site delivery
- Customer Experience development
- User Interface development/usability
- Cash Management & Payments (SWIFT, BACS)
- Balance Transaction Reporting
- MI Reporting

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Occasional travel to other offices in UK (eg Edinburgh) may be required.
