For a longer term project at our banking clients' site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - REGULATORY REPORTING (3728)
The team has the objective to deliver a strategic solution, which meets the FSB requirements. Therefore a strategic reporting solution has to be established as well as proper sourcing from upstream systems. Candidates with PILAR 3 OR BASEL III REPORTING EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW IN DWH (SQL) WOULD BE IDEAL.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Appropriate business education within the regulatory reporting subject
- Comprehensive understanding of business processes and corresponding IT solutions for full month end processing
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand regulatory requirements and business strategy
- Several years of experience in the regulatory reporting environment (SNB, FINMA, PRA, BoE, ).
- Technical knowledge including Data Warehousing (SQL) and experience of regulatory reporting tools.
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong relationship building and consultation skills as well as an ability to ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
- Fluency in English, German language knowledge will be a benefit
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis and gathering of requirements from a reporting and sourcing perspective
- Liaise with the upstream data provider to ensure additional requirements are reflected accordingly
- Drive change with SMEs and IT contacts and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are met on time in budget and quality
- Drive overall work stream delivery to ensure that all requirements are addressed
- Working jointly with IT and business organizations to implement effective business solutions
