Senior Business Analyst - Pricing - IT - Pharma - Basel

For our client, an international pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are looking for a

SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - IN PRICING WITHIN IT (70-100%)

PROJECT:

-This year, our client implemented a platform from the vendor ALSCG (Alliance Life Sciences Consulting Group) in order to have a reporting system for all the prices globally and locally.
-Now that the reporting system is in place, in 2016 the project shall be assessed in a strategic and also tactical approach.

TASKS:

- Support in the strategic approach by designing a roadmap (target-actual comparison).
-Work together with another Business Analyst and in close collaboration with a Business Solution Manager in GPS IT (Global Product Strategy) in order to assess the solution landscape.
- Help to define a medium-long term IT roadmap for a key business stakeholder in GPS department. (This department consists of Product Managers.)
-Perform analytical and conceptual activities to an accounted solution portfolio against internal business customers.
-Provide consultancy and support in defining and documenting the outcome of strategic analysis, by working on your own, but also by taking part in meetings with IT and business representatives.
-Developing business-specific organizational solutions
-Dealing with organizational problems
-Focusing in particular on process organization and single tasks.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

- Senior-level experience in business analysis in the pharmaceutical industry, at both strategic and tactical level
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong synthesis and presentation skills
- Business process modelling skills
- Able to document business cases
- Able to gather and document business and IT requirements
- Experience in defining IT roadmaps
- Experience in interacting with senior management
- Proven track of records (mandatory)
- Goal-oriented
- Teamwork-oriented
- Able to deal with a steep learning curve about the scope of the assessment and to become productive in a very short time
- English language: full professional proficiency (both spoken and written)

Location: Basel (no Remote option)
Duration: 3-4 months (with possible extension)
