Senior Business Analyst - Payments - Financial Services - Glasgow - Ed

A leading retail bank is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to work on a commercial banking online project. This role is to provide Senior Business Analysis support and Design Assurance, especially of the International Payments journey, within the Global Payments workstream of the Migrations project.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Due to the nature of this programme there will be a considerable amount of stakeholder management at senior level

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Strong Financial Services background, especially in a Payments environment
- Good knowledge of end to end Payments flow for all types
- Strong knowledge of International Payments flow and systems used.
- Analyses business requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions
- Uses analytical techniques to identify underlying issues and business needs
- Ability to distill and interpret information to evaluate solutions options and make recommendations
- Able to identify appropriate testing approach for requirements
- Provide Design Assurance of proposed solutions

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The successful candidate will be responsible for a small team of Business Analysts and have significant previous experience within a payments programme. Preferred location would be Glasgow but we are happy to consider colleagues who would be based in Edinburgh as well due to the nature of the project.
