Senior Business Analyst - Operations IT - Switzerland - Contract

FOR ONE OF OUR CLIENTS IN THE BANKING SECTOR IN ZURICH, STAMFORD CONSULTANTS ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED BUSINESS ENGINEER TO BE WORKING ON PROJECTS IN THEIR OPERATIONS IT AREA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Eliciting and analysing business requirements of the global stakeholders
- Delivering functional specifications
- Defining use cases
- Steering workshops
- Understanding the user needs
- Collaborating with the onsite and offshore IT teams
- Supporting the test cases and test strategy
- Resolving various functional issues in a timely manner

IDEAL PROFILE:

- University Degree in Business, Computer Studies, Finance or a related field of study
- Several years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial sector
- Experience in Agile projects, ideally as a Product Owner
- Excellent understanding of the Operations area (Cash/Security Settlement, Payments, General Ledger, etc.)
- SQL queries skills
- Strong understanding of system development processes
- Strong stakeholder management
- Fluent English
