Senior Business Analyst Murex (Contract)

For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST MUREX (CONTRACT)

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Connection and coordination between business and technical team members in order to determine the solutions to business needs
- Development of functional specifications, presentations and documents according to requirements from business
- Responsibility to analyse, design, test and support the implementation of technical solutions that address the changing functional requirements of the IRD's and FX/PM options business on a middle-Back Office related Murex platform
- Work in a dynamic environment within investment banking middle- and back- office
- Analysis, incident resolution and consulting tasks
- Involvement in 3rd level support for production issues

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor/Master in Information Technology or Business Economics or equivalent
- Several years' experience in a similar role within a large financial institution in a trading/Back Office environment
- Outstanding system knowledge of Murex, preferably version 3.1, Back Office and accounting modules
- Solid knowledge of treasury or FX Back Office processing, focusing on OTC derivatives for FX and PM products as well as for IRD's
- Computer literacy and an interest in technical innovations (knowledge of XML (FPML) and SQL is a plus)
- Business-oriented, pro-active and motivated work approach and good communication skills
- Fluent in English is a MUST, German would be an additional advantage

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 12 months (extension highly possible)
- Location: Zurich
- Daily Rate: CHF 865-905 all inclusive
