Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST who has profound experiencewith DATA PROJECTS and INFORMATICA MDM.
This is a contracting & REMOTE ROLE planned to START ASAP until the end of June 2017 with extension opportunities (each 3 months for 3 months until the end of 2018).

PROJECT BACKGROUND:
The project is about implementation of a master data management platform for the logistics department using Informatica MDM Hub, Informatica DQ and Informatica Business Glossary. Initial scope will be for Materials/Products data and later extended to other areas.
TASKS:
- Primary role would be to act as a MDM Analyst and MDM Domain Expert
- In addition you should take ownership of the creation of the user requirements and functional specifications documents and actively contact the diverse business experts and users
- The requirements should be checked for feasibility in the Informatica MDM suit. Depending on team setup it might be required that the position holders also create test cases
- You would also assist in defining new business process flows, verifying DQ checks and MDM screen definitions
- If you come from Development background too, then you are welcome to work in development activities on demand basis
IDEAL PROFILE:
- 8+ YEARS of EXPERIENCE as BUSINESS & FUNCTIONAL ANALYST
- 5+ years of experience with Data projects
- 3+ years of experience with INFORMATICA MDM
- At least 2 projects done for large Data Migrations & Integration
- 2 years of experience in HP ALM for requirement and test case maintenance.
- Knowledge of Material Module of SAP
- Knowledge of Informatica Analyst and Developer/Powercenter tools
- Ability to train business users on new MDM platform
- Good experience with Informatica ETL (ie Power Center) will be a nice to have
- Experience in other Master Data Management tools (eg SAP) will be an advantage
- Senior level of hands-on experience in the Informatica master data management (Meta Data Manager, Data Quality) will be big asset for this role
- Pharma & Swiss client experience is an advantage
