Senior Business Analyst Infrastructure Optimization (1841) - English s

For a six month contract at a leading global financial institution, we are looking for a SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST INFRASTRUCTURE OPTIMIZATION (1841)

For this six month role you will conduct service and business analysis and prepare recommendations including business cases how technology and operational optimization in infrastructure will lead to efficiencies.

Your tasks will involve:

- Working together with the various operations teams to analyze the currently provided services, perform interviews and workshops to understand the used technology.
- Work with the engineering teams to verify whether there are technical opportunities to make the services and processes more efficient.
- Create a detailed recommendation and business case for each of the opportunities.
- Work with architecture, IT-Risk and engineering to verify and validate the recommendations.
- Consolidate the validated information and prepare capture the results in a for senior management suitable form .
- Work with the project team to prepare the project related reporting.

You bring at least 4 years experience in the following fields:

- Core Application Systems (Working Experience)
- IT Environment (Extensive Experience )
- Operational Functions (Extensive Experience)
- Business analysis and compiling business cases
- Work experience in system engineering an/or system administration

You're in possession of an University degree in IT and you're fluent in English (Must).
German knowledge would be beneficial.

Technology:

Given the nature of the project, you should a general understanding of technologies like Unix, Windows, Mainframe and Storage.
