Senior Business Analyst (Information Management)

POSITION GOALS: In the role of a Senior Business Analyst the candidate takes on a key role in this project, which is part of a strategic data integration program. The goal of the project is to take the company's data management practice to the next level by making key data aspects transparent and manageable and by implementing solutions to prioritized issues. The candidate must perform complex analysis tasks and discuss and share the results with various stakeholders. The candidate has a self-starter attitude and can comfortably navigate business and technical aspects of information management interacting professionally with stakeholders on all levels.

MAIN TASKS OR ACTIVITIES:

- Perform encompassing analysis of technical and business aspects in the management of data of overarching relevance to the company
- Establish the enterprise-wide big picture view on data management maturity for key business entities (clients, contracts, risks)
- Establish the enterprise-wide big picture view on key steering dimensions and their dependencies
- Capture and consolidate input of the company's information management teams and further leaders/experts in IT/business
- Produce structured and manageable representation of analysis results communicate results to stakeholders on all levels

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Knowledge of the business and technical fundamentals of information management (relational databases, Datamodelling, data dictionaries, master data management)
- Able to turn fragmented sets of information into the authoritative enterprise-wide "big picture"
- Able to deliver results that serve as instruments to be used on ongoing basis
- Strong communication skills
- Able to handle ambiguity and conflicting information
- Relevant experience with similar task in a complex organization
