SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST HR - COST TRACKING IMPLEMENTATION

Senior Business Analyst is required to work on a project for a major pharmaceutical in Switzerland and support the delivery of phase 4 of a deployment project of a new IT solution (Polaris) to support the management of International Asignees. The project will focus on non-cash cost tracking and payroll integration.

The solution supporting International Assignment management is a cloud based solution providing an electronic assignee case management system interfaced with SAP's main HR systems. It aims to deliver a better customer service, workflow/documentation management, process improvements and streamlining as well as an overall enhancement of the assignee experience.

- Cost tracking implementation
- Payroll integration

The tracking of costs is fundamental to enhance the reporting to the business of actual assignment spend. This data set will also enhance the compliance of the function allowing Real Time reporting of data for the purposes of actual and shadow payroll reporting.
Further with a solid cost data set we can calculate the return on investment of assignments as well as proving a broader set of assignment metrics for the business to monitor and control assignment numbers and spend. The project team needs to be strengthened with dedicated resources, including an HRIT business analyst who will be able to analyse the cost tracking requirements and propose implementation options. It is critical that this analyst drives ideas and change within the project based on experience and established knowledge in this area.

TASKS

- Analysis of the cost tracking requirement
- Review of the different options available with the Polaris Global Mobility System and propose implementation options.
- Prepare impact assessment for the proposed solution
- Define the plan for implementation, testing and change management and delivery of the proposed solutions in 2016
- Prepare the Design of the proposed solution
- Design reports and analytics based on the input data set

REQUIREMENTS

- Proven records as Business Analyst in HRIT, having strong experience with HR Global Mobility and International Assignment processes
- Cost Tracking for International Assignee experience - this should include a solid working knowledge of assignment cost data input sources, actual and shadow payroll reporting for tax and social security purposes as well as data output to payrolls as well as analytical reports for stakeholders
- Experience with Polaris Global Mobility solution (or equivalent system)
- Analytical, logical problem resolution skills
-Knowledge of application systems development methodology with the ability to analyze, design, implement, test and release solutions
-Experience in working in a global environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English

The business analyst will be integrated within an international project team and work under supervision of the project manager.
