Senior Business Analyst for Investment Applications/Try & Hire

Our client, in the insurance industry, is looking for a SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST WITH EXPERIENCE IN INVESTMENT APPLICATIONS to join their organization in Zurich. This is a Try & Hire position.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- In this role you will lead and work on various business and technical initiatives/projects in a global environment and perform quality reviews on project deliverables
- You will analyse the impact of application changes across various components
- Additionally it is necessary to hold an end-to-end view of the system and understand customers' objectives, processes, and products in order to make educated recommendations
- Further you will be responsible to translate business needs into specifications and to accompany the development process until sign-off
- You are responsible to identify process improvement potential, define actions and document reported defects and change requests
- Last but not least you will provide/organize necessary user trainings, support the implementation of new SAP packages and create query based user reports

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- To your solid, advanced IT education you should add at least 7 years of experience as a business analyst in a multicultural, international environment
- You show your proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and to facilitate workshops
- The following areas of knowledge would be very helpful to a candidate to successfully fulfil this role
- Good knowledge about investment instruments, knowledge of Investment Administration and Accounting processes, Project Management and Change Management as well as Release Management methodology
- Further essential assets are good communication skills in written and spoken English
- Command of SAP FSCM as well as experience in report writing is beneficial
