Senior Business Analyst for Engineering (Brussels)

The department Engineering Lending is part of E2E Engineering operations. It has the ambition enable the Business to achieve its objectives around the domain
Lending, by making sure that adequate operations, processes and applications are provided. In close collaboration with the Business, IT and specific stakeholders
such as Risk, it hereby defines the operational strategy around Credits.
In order to realize this strategy, Engineering Lending participates in specific projects.

Function Description
Responsibilities:
- Defining the process and organization scope
- Mapping of the business processes (AS IS and To BE) and the business rules.
- Detecting and documenting potential improvements.
- Defining the high-level and the detailed business needs.

o To do so, coordinate, collaborate and make the necessary links within the Engineering team (with Process and Business
Engineering experts, with other business analysts,…) and outside the Engineering team (E2E Process owners, other Engineering team members,…)
o While defining the business needs, manage very carefully the expectations of the business stakeholders.
o Analyzing the potential impact of the business needs on the process, the products & services and the systems.
- Participating in the Customer Experience Design. Integrate the "outside in" processes and swim lanes in the business needs analysis.
- Drafting the user interfaces: mockup's or sketches, to be detailed in wireframes / visual designs.
- Supporting IT in deriving the detailed requirements list.
- Creating the business glossary (conceptual data model)
- Reviewing and validating the functional analysis and the logical data model
- Developing the UAT Test Scenarios

o Assisting the setup of a test plan

Business Experience
Mandatory
Proven Business Experience Required:
o Experience of at least 6 years in business analysis of highly complex IT projects.
o Experience in process modelling and design
o Experience in discussing with stakeholders inside and outside the domain in order to guarantee the deliverables in time / scope / cost.
o Proven experience within the financial sector, preferably within the banking domain "Credits".

Preferable
o Knowledge of the BNP Paribas Fortis organization is a plus.
o Previous experience in the definition of IT and business architecture models is an important plus
