Senior Business Analyst (Email Solution)

My client a top QLD employer is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team on a fixed term contract basis up until April 2014.The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analysing and documenting current state and future state business processes within a large ICT environment.

Responsibilities of the role:

- Capture and analyse 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business process models using approved methods and tools.
- Develop business and software requirements specifications for IM/ICT projects, ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the project life cycle.
- Provide a support and mentoring role for other business analysts within the program/project(s).
- Liaise with test team to ensure business/software requirements are incorporated into testing products.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement, assessment and the development of a stakeholder Matrix, and ongoing stakeholder management.
- Supervise and coordinate specialised project team(s).
- Coordinate the business impact phase of implementation within agreed timeframes.
- Analyse application Dependent workflow and report, recommended solutions and workarounds.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- Experience performing business analysis activities within IM/ICT program/project(s), preferably in the health care industry.
- Experience in capturing and analysing 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business process models across large organisations, preferably using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
- Knowledge in, and an ability to provide sound advice and recommendations on, the application of appropriate business analysis techniques, methodologies and tools, preferably aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Version 2.0
- Proven effective consultation, facilitation, written and oral communication skills for use in a program/project environment.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relations ships with team members and stakeholders.
