SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - EDINBURGH - INVESTMENT/ASSET MANAGEMENT

A LEADING UK BANK REQUIRES A SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST WITH A GOOD BACKGROUND IN EITHER ASSET OR INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT TO JOIN A PROJECT BASED IN EDINBURGH.  

Working on a key regulatory project, you will be accountable for the following:

- Co-ordinating the processes to identify and agree the appropriate future state business models to allow the business to comply with the regulations.
- Documenting the resulting future state business models
- Supporting the introduction and implementation of the new business models
- Analysing and documenting the performance impact of the regulations on the business model
- Margin requirements and simulation across Clearing Houses and Clearing Members and impact on performance
- Analysing how performance is impacted as a result of changing ineligible instruments into eligible instruments

The following key skills and experience are required:

- ASSET OR INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
- KNOWLEDGE OF FUND MANAGEMENT OR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH FUND MANAGERS
- KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF OTC DERIVATIVES
- EXPERIENCE DEFINING BUSINESS MODELS TO REFLECT REGULATORY CHANGE
- KNOWLEDGE OF EMIR OR DODD FRANK- ADVANTAGEOUS
