Senior Business Analyst - Contract

SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

My client based in Dublin City Centre is looking for a technical BA who would have exposure across the SDLC. This is an initial 6 month contract with the strong potential for extension

ESSENTIAL

- 3+ years in a similar BA role
- Experience in business requirement definition projects for large enterprise - wide software applications.
- Experience across the entire systems development life cycle
- Experience in use case analysis
- Excellent workshop/facilitation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to articulate complex processes and concepts to non-experts
- Ability to clearly and concisely gather, interpret, analyse and document information
- Proven experience in analytical, research and problem-solving techniques

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with business, technical, and off-shore teams, to create business deliverables such as Process Maps, Business Requirements and Functional Requirements (UML and User Stories)
- Work with business and technical teams to support the development of Technical Requirements
- Facilitate workshops (typically telephone/web conference) with business stakeholders to develop requirements
- Develop process and data mapping for systems
- Act as key liaison between business and technical teams, including building and managing relationships with business functions
