Senior Business Analyst - CAD/BOM/BOC
Senior Business Analyst required by global FMCG company to assist in the CAD/BOM/BOC
Background:
Currently our client cannot trace material or component data with precision. Component drawings and technical specification not part of product specification package as sent to suppliers. Technical product specifications are not supporting the development of customer solutions (like Home Planner and similar solutions) in a seamless efficient way. Currently they are not exploiting the capabilities of their 3D CAD tools and can not easily calculate material consumption with the needed precision. The CAD file structure is reflecting the way we are organised and hence does not encourage re-use of existing solutions. Components and other items building the range of products are created and stored in scattered environments. Many legal requirements require specific material information such as mtrl consumption per article, declaration of substances (eg EU Toy safety directive, REACH, EREP, Lacey). Today's solution = mainly manual. Technician's doc work is time consuming and must be simplified. Drawings, BOM/volume calculations, BOC are today created in separated work flows; supporting systems are not integrated and as for material volume calculations there is not any system support at all. Capturing material volumes would improve long term strategic purchasing activities. Today there is very limited connection between technical doc and customer communication process. eg the development of Assembly Instructions.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist our client in capturing, analysing and documenting processes and business functional requirements together with a diverse project team.
English is the only language required.
