For a project at a client in Zurich, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst/IT Business Analyst as follows:
PROJECT:
The bank builds a new global and scalable platform to further improve the sophistication of advice and to ensure an efficient delivery to the clients.
Components:
- Integrate new instrument and portfolio risk calculation engine
Staggered roll-out, starting in Switzerland and to be globally used in a following step
MAIN TASKS OF THE ROLE:
- creation of business concepts, technical specifications and user stories in the area of the new risk engine
- creation of interface agreements with various internal IT systems
- support in preparation and conduction of business management meetings
- support in the analysis of the impact of the new methodology compared to the old one
- support in the creation of education/training/information material to achieve a global roll-out of the new methodology within the bank
- support in the creation and execution of test cases
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS:
- Banking knowledge
- Pragmatic, communicative and open personality
- Strong analytical skills and IT knowledge
- Experience in writing business specifications, concepts and user stories as well as technical documentations
- Precise and efficient working style
- Willing and able to work as part of an interdisciplinary team in an agile environment (SCRUM)
- English
DESIRABLE:
- Understanding of different kind of financial instruments (incl. funds, derivatives, structured products)
- Experience with methodological and regulatory questions regarding product and portfolio risk (PPR)
- Basic understanding of risk models (VaR, Volatility)
- Experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management with focus in Advisory Process
- Experience in roll-out and education of users
- Intercultural skills (Far East Asia, UK)
- German
REQUIRED SOFTSKILLS:
- Ability to set an example for team members by portraying self-motivation, a focus on client delivery, preparedness, organization, a positive attitude and respect for others
- Excellent analytical and visualization skills
- Proactive, pragmatic and solution orientated
