Senior Business Analyst - Accounting

Our client, a cutting edge insurance company, is looking for a SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST WITH STRONG ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE to join their organization in Zurich.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define business requirements for US market
- Support testing of new functionality: define, test, report results, ensure resolution
- Maintain Test log; ensure proper documentation
- Support UAT
- Analyze differences and ensure correction actions are executed
- Support migration team to process the trades, reconcile positions and accounting data, etc
- Maintenance HPQC issues

REQUIREMENTS:

- Good knowledge of FSCM/TRM (especially position management)
- Several years of experience as a business analyst in a multicultural and international environment
- Investment accounting: IFRS, US GAAP (preferred), US STAT (preferred), US TAX (preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills
- US market specific: ABS/MBS product types
- Excellent English both written and oral
