On behalf of our client, one of the WORLD'S LEADING PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES, located in the heart of the beautiful and cultural Basel area we are looking for a SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST. The workload is 60% which can be chosen flexibly from Monday to Thursday.
This is a CONTRACTING position from the 30TH OF APRIL 2018 UNTIL THE 31ST OF OCTOBER 2018 (extension planned).
You will be working in the Basel based office for Technology and Information. Within the group of Business Capability Managing, made up of 5 people, you will be working with representatives of the PD and IT Functions to strategically manage and improve data, information and systems, supporting the needs of everyone in PD. Your objective will be to perform analytical and conceptual activities on selected initiatives, develop business cases and process guidelines in alignment with business and stakeholders.
YOUR TASKS:
- Providing process and subject matter expertise and apply industry best practice for technology & process improvement initiatives in the area of Demand & Change Management, Identity Access Management and User Support
- Translating subject matter expertise so it can be understood by technical and non-technical colleagues
- Taking over Business Lead position for selected initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve business systems management practices in alignment with stakeholders in Business and IT
- Liaising with the PD Business Functions and Informatics and lead the development phase of initiatives, ie Business Case, Analysis, Guidelines and Recommendations
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- +7 YEARS of experience as a BUSINESS ANALYST
- Good Knowledge of CLINICAL TRIALS/STUDIES AND OVERALL CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT
- Broad industry best practice knowledge in BUSINESS SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT with focus on the topics Demand & Change Management, Identity & Access Management and User Support
- Experience in a REGULATED ENVIRONMENT (GxP, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Project Management skills (planning of activities and communication with stakeholders)
- Document writing and process documentation (Guideline/SOP Level)
- ENGLISH language proficiency
IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Certifications: ITIL, Business Requirements Engineering (IREB), PMI, SCRUM, Six Sigma
- German
