Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Analyst will work with clients to provide strategic and tactical analysis and insights to help drive commercial and operational goals. The individual should be able to mine data and produce actionable information that can be implemented by Commercial Operations and regional Senior management. Candidate must be able to translate analyses into business recommendation and provide analytical support as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare analysis and presentations to support business trends and potential performance gaps
- Provide analytical support to senior management for high priority, projects in Field Force Effectiveness, Continuous Improvement, Key Account Management, Operational Agility, Learning and Development and other special projects
- Conceptualize analytical and modelling framework, define data requirements, build models and related analyses, create actionable insights, and implement processes
- Develop analyses to measure impact of various projects and sales driven initiatives on both an ad-hoc and ongoing basis, ensuring that internal team members have the information necessary to make informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and define performance metrics (KPIs) that provide insight on key trends impacting business performance. These insights will focus on key customer and segment sales performance and other key business variables.
- Work closely with stakeholders and IT to develop and enhance dashboards, reports and scorecards.
- Work in a collaborative, team-oriented style with other internal teams to identify opportunities and address information needs.

SKILLS:

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- A minimum of 5 years related experience with marketing analytics, financial analysis and/or sales analytics required for Manager level candidates.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Superior analytic skills and ability to synthesize a large quantity of data into actionable conclusions and recommendations.
- Excellent analytic SQL skills working with large data sets are a must.
- Strong background in development and use of analytical techniques, including: segmentation, modelling, data mining, and ROI analysis
- Power user of MS Office (Excel, Access) and other PC tools. Some experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Oracle, Cognos, Tableau, Business Objects etc.
- Strong skills building insight driven Powerpoint presentations. Excellent written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in a collaborative problem-solving environment.
- Spanish is a plus.
