Senior Business Analyst

Yoh has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST to join our client in Portland, OR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execute implementation/migration plans based on the architectural designs provided by project engineers. These plans will be guidelines for the implementation team to execute.
- Learn, understand, and document current business processes including usage of a hiring software tool.
- Execute recommended changes to business processes based on the capabilities of new software.
- Write test cases in support of the new software to determine if new processes will adequately accommodate the business's needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience or passion for working on reengineering projects (may include changes to processes, systems, data, roles, suppliers).
- Ability to define TO BE state and metrics to demonstrate the business result has been achieved
- Experience with gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Solid experience with project management fundamentals and the importance of project management discipline.
- Team-player: sought out by others in the organization, and customers, to be part of new project initiatives.
- Experience with business process flow modelling and use case documentation.
- Experience with using data to drive decision making.
- Strong analytical skills with prior experience in enterprise systems, database, and integration support.
- Candidate must be action oriented, proactive, able to multi-task, and set a demanding pace of execution.
- Strong customer service, business partnership, and interpersonal skills will be essential.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

- Prior experience in requirements development, testing, Scripting, SQL or other querying languages is recommended.
- Basic understanding, experience with change and transition management.
- Experience with Taleo Enterprise Applicant Tracking System and/or PeopleSoft.
- Familiarity with, and an aptitude for, web-based applications.
- Knowledge of Global Staffing business processes and the Staffing tool applications.
