Senior Business Analyst

My client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who has extensive experience in the end to end delivery of business transformation projects. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a proven record of excellent stakeholder management and an in depth knowledge of SDLC.

Duties:

- Documentation of business processes & business rules.
- Analyse and map business processes (existing and future)
- Development of business and functional requirements documents to agreed standards
- Manage scope change via the change management process
- Oversee the development of IT products through collaboration with the development team (Solution Architect, Developers, Testers) throughout the implementation life cycle
- Support business users in User Acceptance Testing
- Liaise with business stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Liaise with external agencies and service providers

Essential skills:

- 'Hands-on' experience in requirements gathering for large, complex projects Ability to grasp the nuances of the business imperatives and drive towards successful outcomes
- Excellent co-ordination skills and experience working in collaborative teams and with stakeholders at all levels
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst with end to end responsibility for delivery In depth Understanding of IT application systems (web-based or otherwise) supporting business operations
- In depth understanding of the systems development life cycle - methodology, processes and artefacts (Waterfall or Iterative) Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working with ambiguity
- MS Visio
- Experience in business transformation projects
