Senior Business Analyst

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST to join our client in Santa Ana, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Elicit, validate and translate business requirements into system definitions, Use Cases and software requirements documents.
- Analyze, organize and create functional and non-functional requirements, gather and document business rules, design and propose software solutions.
- Act as liaison between the user community and the technical applications development staff.
- Support software development effort by providing clarifications on requirements and design to application development teams.
- Identify and analyze problems, risks and change requests, research alternatives and drive solutions for items that impact project scope and schedule.
- Review quality assurance test cases and ensure they meet solution requirements as stated in the design documents.
- Write User Acceptance Test scenarios and support business users through the UAT cycle.
- Maintain the documentation associated with internal software applications (use case courses, requirements, business rules, user interface specification.)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Five (5) plus years experience as a Business System Analyst with focus on software design. System-to-system interface design experience.
- Solid working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (RUP, SCRUM, Waterfall)
- Technical experience or exposure to interacting with data, querying data and working with XML a plus.
- Ability to work and facilitate calls with offshore resources in India during off hours.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Title insurance, escrow, mortgage and/or real estate industry experience is desired.
- Full life cycle web application project experience is a big plus.
