This is a 12 month contract opportunity.
Overview
Our Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for their eServices team, who will work closely with the eServices project managers, other project teams, clients, and IT partners in solution delivery.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Gather and document business requirements
- Coordinate testing and issue resolution between testing team and the development team
- Coordinate releases to different environments
- Participate in other solution delivery activities as required. For example, release planning, Business process workshops etc.
- Assist in completing the required documentation in our Client's Software Solutions Methodology.
Qualifications
Required Skills Greater than 10 years in the following:
- Business requirements Gathering and documentation
- Oversight of IT solution planning, requirements gathering, integration, and implementation
- Use Cases
- Experience delivering solutions using an Agile methodology or equivalent
- Release Manager experience
- Coordination with IT service providers including Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Database, Server Administration, Application Support, Enterprise Support Systems (ESS) and Network
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop trusted relationships with clients
- Experience in public web application, multi technology environment
- Ability to work in a team environment, demonstrating innovation, initiative, a customer service focus, positive ambassadorship and the ability to meet commitments.
Desired Skills:
- Previous work experience with Government Organizations would be an asset
- Workflow system experience
- Usability/user experience standards.
