Senior Business Analyst

- INITIAL 1 MONTH CONTRACT - STRONG VIEW TO EXTEND TO 12 MONTHS

An opportunity has become available for a Senior Business Analyst - Applications Development, to develop and manage a range of critical information systems that support the overall program.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Gather and produce requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, business process descriptions and scenarios
- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high level information into details
- Engage with stakeholders to analyse information needs and functional requirements and develop the business/functional requirements, requirements traceability Matrix and system use cases
- Work independently with users; as part of a project team; and under direction of project managers
- Communicate between the SME's and the software development team to establish the technical requirements

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Minimum 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
- Degree in IT systems or a business related discipline
- Extensive stakeholder engagement/management skills
- Strong analytical and product management skills required
- High level communication skills both written and verbal
- Government industry experience in IT systems delivery will be highly regarded as is experience in the specification/implementation of web based applications/solutions
