The Senior Business Analyst in this group is responsible for defining and documenting requirements for these IT solutions, developing and executing system testing, and assisting with UAT, implementation and training when necessary. The person in this role will be required to acquire an in-depth understanding of business processes across multiple business areas and then work closely with the business and technical teams to make sure that the solutions meet the needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), especially requirements gathering and system testing. Experience in reviewing 3rd party tools through the use of Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals also a plus. This person must be a highly organized, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. The ability to multi-task and to be effective on multiple projects at once is a must.

Position Responsibilities:

- Create application requirements. (Facilitate sessions, document business processes, create prototypes, create scope documents, create use cases, create detailed requirements documents, and obtain business sign off.)
- Create system test plans, execute system testing, and work with the business to coordinate user acceptance testing.
- Assist in documenting the Communication, Training and deployment plans if necessary.
- Become the Subject Matter Expert for applications and act as a day-to-day point of contact for the business teams.
- As a senior level business analyst, the individual will also be responsible for assisting project leadership in determining design approach, estimating/planning, setting technical direction, and identifying necessary resources for a project.

Experience:
- 6+ years as a Senior Business Analyst/Business Analyst working with both IT and business teams.
- 4+ years of leading software life cycle development.
- 8+ years of technology experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and Visio.
- B.S. in Information Systems or Financial or related field required.
- Experience with financial tools a plus.

- Ability to understand & analyze complex financial concepts and calculations.
