Senior Business Analyst

Our client is a SIGNATURE ALASKAN FINANCIAL COMPANY seeking a Business Analyst with NETWORK EXPERTISE for an excellent consulting opportunity.

THE CANDIDATE IN THIS POSITION WILL BE LEADING MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS:

- Developing project management techniques to ensure project success
- Writing recommendations, whitepapers, and procedures
- Creating and maintain reports and dashboards
- Performing financial analysis of projects
- Providing leadership in research, analysis, recommendation and implementation of complex technologies

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Demonstrate superior performance as a Business Analyst II.
- Create project charters, plans, requirements, and scope documents.
- Manage complex projects through the initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing phases.
- Maintain system architecture documents and technology roadmaps.
- Perform financial analysis of proposed projects and technology.
- Write business case and cost benefit analysis on various project and infrastructure initiatives.
- Participate in operational risk analysis and assessments of technology deployments.
- Maintain and collect statistical measurements and dashboards.
- Research technologies and best practices for major infrastructure initiatives.
- Oversee the planning, architect, and deployment of technologies across multiple datacenters.
- Present recommendations and findings to executive management.
- Maintain current professional and technical knowledge pertaining to industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain a working knowledge of operations and an in-depth knowledge of current and emerging applications, technologies and best practices.
- Develop familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Provide leadership and work direction to other staff members in research, analysis, recommendation, and implementation of complex applications.
- Establish project objectives and plans by coordinating and collaborating with departments and senior management.
- Oversee the maintenance of application system documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of team efforts and results.

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
