Senior Biostatistician - Utrecht (12 months)

Amoria Bond is currently looking for an experienced Biostatistician to join one of our clients in Utrecht for a 12 month contract, with the possibility of extension. The project is for a large pharmaceutical organisation, with an exciting new project. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, as this role will involve leading a team of 5-6 statisticians.

The role is office based and our client is looking for someone who can bring creativity and out of the box ideas to the table. This is a hands-on and exciting role for a proactive individual who can hit the ground running and exceed within their own capacity.

The ideal candidate would have:

- Vast experience working as a (Bio)statistician in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry. CRO/Academic backgrounds considered but Pharmaceutical experience essential.
- Degree level education (MSc/PhD) in statistics or a related field, and/or considerable work experience
- Thorough knowledge of analysis techniques common in randomized controlled trials
- Knowledge of relevant IT software used to conduct data analysis (SAS)
- Knowledge of clinical data evaluation and relevant data evaluation tolls, clinical trial processes, mixed models, stats & knowledge in data science
- An independent, professional and reliable work approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

The role involves the following tasks:

- Writing and reviewing of SAP/Statistical sections of the protocol, consultancy regarding stat design and sample size, quality control of statistical analyses and reviewing of results reporting
- Providing statistical expertise as well as SAS programming insight
- Workflow optimization
- Gathering of high quality clinical datasets
- Independent evaluation and analysis of clinical data sets
- Establish inter department communication with other relevant stakeholder
