Our client is a leading financial company seeking a Senior BI/Tableau Developer with strong analytical skills. This individual will be responsible for the design and development of analytics and reporting on a Marketing Data Mart. The successful candidate will have Tableau server experience and SQL writing experience.

PRIMARY TASKS

- Develop, design and support complex Tableau reports.
- Help enhance existing dashboard design and visualization.
- Support monthly production of reports and analytics.
- Mentor and support less experienced Tableau developers.
- Communicate technical report requirements to non-technical business partners.
- Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues within reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience within design and development on BI reporting and analytics
- 3+ years of experience using Tableau Desktop and Server
- Excellent SQL writing skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a corporate environment
- Excellent experience with connecting to multiple data sources in Tableau (Oracle, MS Access, Teradata, Excel, etc.)
- Strong MS PowerPoint and Excel skills, including pivot tables/graphing
- Strong knowledge of best practices around Dashboards and Report Visualization
- Strong knowledge of best practices around Self-Service BI
- Experience with Tableau Server Configuration a plus (Creation of users, groups and projects with appropriate permissions)
- Experience creating BI training materials a plus
- Experience with financial/banking/marketing data a plus
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or qualified BI experience
