Senior BI Project Manager

PLEASE NOTE THAT PROFILES WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING SKILLS WILL NOT BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION:
- MANAGING MULTIPLE PROJECTS SIMULTANEOUSLY
- ERWIN DATAMODELLING: CREATING ENTITY RELATIONSHIP DIAGRAMS
- DATAWAREHOUSE TERADATA
- TRILINGUAL: ENGLISH, DUTCH AND FRENCH
He/She will work in the BI projects department with approximately 10 colleagues. The project team varies in size from 1 to 5 employees depending on the project. These are all people who have great Teradata technical knowledge. The PM has to have FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF TERADATA. The languages spoken are FRENCH and DUTCH. The offshore team speaks ENGLISH, so the PM has to be trilingual. All projects involve BI application development.
The person we're looking for has to be a CLASSIC SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER. The PM will take on several small projects at a time. The projects will all be small and last a couple of months. He/she doesn't have to be certified, but he/she has to have proven knowledge of PM methodology. He/she has to truly understand Prince2 methods. They work in the Waterfall model, but they are moving towards SCRUM, so he/she has to has proven experience in both. It's the key that the PM can be operational in short period of time. The current PM will be there till mid September to hand over the workload.
A good profile would be someone who can REACT VERY FAST TO QUESTIONS from the management and the budget holder. Someone who is TO-THE-POINT. He/she has to have experience in implementing new systems. Who is a good communicator. Has good skills in ANALYSING THE RISKS INVOLVED. He/she has to be able to create an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). He/she has to be able to structure the requirements he/she gets from the business and propose the most adequate solutions for Datamodelling.
The working places vary between BRUSSELS AND ANTWERP. The working hours are flexible. The travelling has to be done with his/her own car.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Erwin Data modelling tool (has to be able to create an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD)
- SQL (functional)
- Teradata knowledge (teradata financial services logical data model)
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
- Project management skills >3 years
- PM Methodology
- Be able to capture and structure requirements
- Propose, in accordance with architecture, most adequate solutions
OTHER SKILLS:
- Structured and delivery oriented
- Good communicator
- Able to produce appropriate & structured reporting
- Can easily adapt to a changing environment
- Secure project follow-up (planning, team meetings, steering committees) and produce structured and appropriate reporting.
- Capture and understand business requirements as expressed by the key users
- Be able to quickly set the scope of an initiative and sketch a first draft of solution allowing to the analysts and architects to further elaborate
