Senior BI Developer - 3 months contract - extensions likely.

My client has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior BI Developer to join their team, based near St Pauls, for an initial 3 months contract (extensions likely).

The purpose of the role is to ensure the continued development of my client's Business Intelligence ability, liaising with the business and with analysts to extract real value add from existing data and produce high quality reports.

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence tools including (but not limited to): SSRS ( Reporting Services); SSAS; SSIS; MDX; experience with both Oracle and SQL databases (PL/SQLData warehousing skills; Experience with SCRUM; Experience with Team Foundation Server. Any of the following would be highly desirable: Strong awareness of other (non Microsoft) Business Intelligence solutions, specially Actuate; .NET, F#, SharePoint 2010; Understanding of financial reporting

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced commercial environment. A strong technical awareness and keenness to learn new and emerging technologies is a must.

Any relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
